Instructional & Information Technology (I&IT) is offering a new service for students, faculty and staff who have forgotten their passwords to the university’s Intranet services. Instead of going to the I&IT Help Desk to have passwords reset, these can now be changed online by using the new Password Reset feature. Resetting the password will impact the campus’ centralized Exchange server (available to faculty and staff), Intranet Web Mail, Blackboard and WebCT.
To use the new Password Reset function, users first must configure their accounts with security “challenge” questions. If passwords are later forgotten, users can go to the reset site, answer the security question and then choose a new account password.
