Associated Students Inc. will host this year's Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Region 15 conference, Adding-On to the House, Nov. 4-6, at the Bronco Student Center and DoubleTree Hotel in Ontario. The three-day annual conference will bring together nearly 40 member colleges and universities from California, Hawaii, Nevada, Guam and Australia to facilitate community-building and information exchange.
The conference will feature more than 50 hands-on educational sessions about important facility management issues, student leadership and student activities. The conference will also include two nationally known keynote speakers, Elizabeth Birch, former executive director of the Human Rights Campaign, and Marsha Herman-Betzen, executive director of ACUI. In addition, this event will provide opportunities to meet and network with nearly 250 students and staff from other colleges and universities.
All Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty and staff members are invited to attend the conference at the ACUI member rate. Cost for the full three-day conference for ACUI institutional members is $250, which covers all expenses during the conference except lodging, travel and any meals not listed. Students also have the option to register for one day at $140. For more information and conference registration, visit region15.acui.org/Region/15/conference04.
