Free Concert by Beatles Tribute Band, Imagine, Headlines BroncoFest
Imagine is a Beatles tribute band that will play at Broncofest.

A hot air balloon rises above Union Plaza at last year's Broncofest.

Let Cal Poly Pomona help you get over a ?Hard Day?s Night? when Beatles tribute band Imagine performs a free concert, one of many attractions at the university?s annual spring festival, BroncoFest, scheduled for Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in University Park.

Returning as master of ceremonies is Shayla Rivera, a rocket scientist turned comedian who has become one of the hottest Latinos in the comedy circuit. Rivera previously went by the first name Sheila, however her ability to make laughs remains the same.

The campus community and the public are invited to enjoy a wide range of activities suitable for every age at BroncoFest. Activities include live bands, games, cultural performances, hot air balloon rides, campus tours and a promenade featuring magicians and street performers. Children will be busy in their own Fun Zone for Kids, with pony rides, clowns, a bounce house, and arts and crafts. There will also be a variety of food to tempt every taste.
The Imagine concert is one of several live performances scheduled throughout the day. Other featured music genres include R&B;, pop and alternative.

A special morning program for prospective students will be held at 9 a.m. in the gym. Parking will be free on the day of BroncoFest.

For performance schedules or additional information, call the BroncoFest 2003 hotline at (909) 869-5335 or visit www.cpp.edu/~broncofest.
