Cal Poly Pomona students interested in a career in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering are invited to apply to the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program. The scholarship award covers eligible expenses up to a maximum of $7,500 per year. To be eligible, a student must be a current full-time sophomore or junior, have a B average, stand in the upper fourth of the class and be a U.S. citizen, resident alien or U.S. national who will pursue a career in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering.
